1. Delta- A marshy region formed by deposits of silt and the mouth of the river.

3. Pharaoh- A king or ancient Egypt, considered a god. 
4. Theocracy- A government in which a ruler is viewed as a divine figure.
5. Pyramid- A massive structure with a rectangular base and four rectangular sides, burial places for old kingdom pharaohs. 
6. Mummification- A process of embalming and drying corpses to prevent them from decaying.
7. Hieroglyphic- An ancient Egyptian writing system in which pictures were used to represent ideas and sounds. 
8. Papyrus- A tall reed that grows to make paper like material for writing on.

3)They are located in the Fertile Crescent which is good for farming because of the good soil. Also good protection from other people and villages.

4)They looked at a Pharaoh as a God.

5)So the body would not decay, and for future reasons also.
