- Judicial(USA)- Supreme court, nine members, lifetime terms
- Bill of rights- First ten amendments to the constitution

- Third Punic War (149-146 BCE)
- Plebs- very poor people that sometimes revolt against the rich, to stop this, the rich would give food to the poor so they can prevent revolting
- Julius Caesar- Powerful leader
- Triumvirate- Pompey, Crassus, and Julius Caesar
- Julius Caesar served as consul (one year)
- Caesar grandnephew, Octavian takes over at the age of 18
